Jun Lee is currently the Artist in Residence in printmaking at the Lee Arts Center in Arlington, VA. She attended Minneapolis College of Art and Design earning a BFA in Illustration and Post Baccalaureate in Printmaking. She later received her MFA in Print Media from Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, MI.
After receiving her MFA in 2007, Jun moved to Virginia and has been working as an artist and
teacher. During her residency at Lee Arts Center, she has focused on large-scale woodcuts and
screenprinting. She has also completed residencies at Penland School of Crafts and Pyramid
Atlantic Art Center. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally including K
Space Contemporary, Corpus Christi, TX; Purdue University Galleries,West Lafayette,
IN; University of Maryland University College, Adelphi, MD; Insa Art Center, Seoul, South
Korea; Daimler Financial Services Atrium, Berlin, Germany.
