It was more everyone just doing their jobs - everyone knew exactly what they needed to do so they just went and did it. It was an amazing feat of teamwork. I was back in the engine room at the time and everyone back there was doing something to get the reactor going. It could be anything from reading the procedure, because in a plane the first thing to do is open the book, that's the same thing we do. You go through and read the steps. So we had everyone reading steps, to spinning valves and doing everything to get the reactor started up. It was chaos but it was a lot of teamwork in the chaos, so it was very controlled.
Using storytelling and art, EVAC bridges the gap between civilians and veterans by educating the public about life in the military.
